Swati Rao Shiv is a researcher in Neurophysiology, Psychodynamics, and Qualitative Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI), specialising in the study of how repetitive thought patterns, internal dominant focus(IDF), and emotional states influence neuroplasticity in the mind, release of neurotransmitters, hormones, immune activity, and behavioural outcomes. Her work integrates psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness, and IDF to understand how emotional and cognitive shifts produce measurable physiological changes across neuroendocrine and autonomic neuropathways.
Alongside research, she is a senior therapeutic practitioner with expertise in Positive Psychology Interventions, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression, CBT, DBT, NLP, Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy, Alpha & Theta Healing, and Energy Psychology. With two decades of clinical and experiential practice and more than 1,000 clients, she offers integrative mind–body interventions for emotional regulation, trauma recovery, stress management, and behavioural restructuring.
Her research paper publications appear in Journal of Indian Academy of Applied Psychology, , American Journal of Psychiatric Rehabilitation, International Journal of Multi factor Research ,the Journal of Applied Bioanalysis, and she is the author of five self help books on emotional well-being and mind–body science that covers aspects of deleting memories, dimensionsl shifts and psychneuroimmunology. Swati’s broader mission is to contribute to global mental health research, education & policy development by developing evidence-based frameworks that enhance well-being, partience, inner peace and health and positivity adaptation across diverse cultures.
